Consultation with Referring Providers
Consultation is a core component of our practice and is aligned with the collaborative referral process outlined on the Referrals page. With appropriate authorization, written reports are shared with referring providers.
We collaborate with referring providers to:
Clarify referral questions prior to evaluation
Integrate neuropsychological findings into ongoing care
Discuss diagnostic impressions, limitations, and recommendations
Consultation may occur before, during, or after an evaluation and is focused on supporting continuity of care within an outpatient healthcare setting.
Population Served
We primarily serve individuals from early adulthood through older adulthood, consistent with our referral guidelines.
Exceptions for adolescents ages 16–17 may be considered on a case-by-case basis in consultation with referring providers, depending on referral needs and clinical fit.
Scope of Practice
Our services are limited to evaluation and consultation for healthcare purposes within an outpatient setting. We do not provide emergency services, psychotherapy, medication management, or forensic evaluations. We do not provide ongoing psychotherapy, cognitive remediation programs, or forensic evaluations.
Recommendations are intended to inform treatment planning, accommodations, or next clinical steps. They are based on information available at the time of evaluation and are not guarantees of specific outcomes.
Next Steps
This practice does not provide emergency services. In the event of urgent safety concerns, individuals should contact emergency services or appropriate crisis resources in their area.
